"Great, if somewhat basic, bar/restaurant with sea views (although these are across a busy main road). Tasty food that is very well priced e.g. half chicken with chips or Canadian spicy potatoes just 4.90 Euro or home made pizzas from 5 Euro. The bar is well known for its generously sized steaks and kebabs made with good quality meat plus the excellent paella. Very pleasant staff. From the extensive menu (which is only in Spanish that could cause problems for some visitors) we can especially recommend - PASTA WITH MARINERA SAUCE This has to be the best pasta dish I've ever had - SO much seafood (large and small clams, large and small prawns, large mussels, tender squid, and baby octopus in a delicious white wine and cream sauce). unbeatable value and quality at 9 Euro. PAELLA DE MARISCOS (Seafood Paella) Very nicely presented well cooked/seasomed rice with a large amount of good quality seafood (similar selection as in the Pasta Marinera). One of the few places locally where they will cook paella for just one person and you don't have to pre-book - portions are very generous and our paella for 2 people would easily have been enough for 3 or, with a salad, 4 people. As the paella is cooked from scratch there is a waiting time of around 30 minutes. The seafood paella costs 10 Euro per person or for a cheaper option there is a mixed paella at 8 Euro per person."

"The food here is great, had some rice and barbeque chicken and absolutely loved it. Small con is that it takes a while for a waiter to get to you (it is fairly busy here) and there is some considerable wait time for your food but it is absolutely worth the time and money. Fairly cheap too!"

"After a terrible experience down the road we found this delightful spot along the beach. It was almost lunchtime but the guys inside were so helpful and willing to accommodate making an egg in a separate pan so it's not fried in bacon grease. If you're a vegetarian it's hard to eat in this part of Spain as there's a lot of meat! The egg was served with no bacon fat and was delicious! The pan con tomate fresh. The coffee was superb. The best part was the friendly and accommodating service. 5 stars plus!"

"Food is great and it's the only place in the area where I found papas arrugás (potatoes cooked the Canarias way). Also, the prices are low so no wonder the place is packed at lunchtime. Would definitely pay another visit to try something else from the menu."

The overal menu including the salads and gazpacho was also very reasonable priced The communication was a bit challenging (we ordered small salads but ended up getting big ones). The Tinto Verano was not nice and the decor at the place seems what basic, but overal it was a nice lunch"
